iPad Angles Maths Lesson Using Geoboard app

This week in Year 3 we were learning about angles.  During the week we used our iPads to take photos of angles we found in the classroom, then used Poplet to classify the angles into acute, obtuse and right.

 Then on Friday, the students used the Geoboard App to create their initials with rubber bands.  

After saving the image and cropping it, they put it into their Maths Learning Journal (BookCreator App).  The last step was to add labels for the angles they found in their intitials. 

 Lots of fun, lots of discussion about whose initials had only right angles, how few obtuse angles there were and how many students had all three types of angles in their names.
